Our 12th and final season.
It was a celebration of 12 triumphant years of critically acclaimed world premieres and national tours, brilliantly creative collaborators, amazingly talented dancers—all guided by the strength, dedication, and soul of Jeanne Ruddy. From May 10th - 12th it all came together ... as we transformed our 12th season into the most memorable. And the most historic.
Montage À Trois
Flirtatious Paris 1910. An era of inspiration. Color. Joie de vivre.
Restaged for the theater, MonTage à Trois showcases Elizabeth Osborne’s color and light paintings, Ellen Fishman-Johnson’smultimedia interpretation of Satie and Debussy and Ruddy’s award winning choreography.Choreography: Jeanne Ruddy

Out of the Mist, Above the Real
Ancient Ireland. A paean to the search for one’s past. Lyrical. Sacred.
Choreography: Jeanne Ruddy
Set to Daniel Brewbaker’s Irish Cantata, this piece was choreographed by Ruddy based on Thomas Cole’s The Four Voyages of Life. For one last time Ruddy will perform a section of this piece with the company alongside local artist Brigitta Herrmann, who will revive her role as the mature woman.

Game Drive
World premier 2012
On Safari. Kenya. Spirited interplay between tourists and animals. Mischievous. Fun. With choreography inspired by Ruddy’s recent trip to Africa, Game Drive is set to the unique and pulsating music of 2010 Pulitzer Prize winner, Jennifer Higdon, hailed by The Washington Post as “a savvy sensitive composer with a keen ear, an innate sense of form and a generous dash of pure esprit.”
