Jeanne Ruddy Dancers and Jane Comfort
In collaboration with the dancers, this work is the fruit of two mad weeks in February. We worked fast and furiously to creat material, from which images began to coalesce: a community in danger, bad dogs and poorer owners, failed citizens and all manner of judgements that get in the way. The dancers created movement within the given parameters; sound effects often generated material, and later were found in response to the images.
JRD offered two venues to allow the public to observe and interact with Jane.
